Ron Jones has a proven record of developing strategic collaborations between state and local governments, corporations and communities. He has driven millions of dollars in revenue to his clients by successfully managing requests for proposals in government and education sectors.
After a career of outstanding military and public service, including twelve years as Texas Land Commissioner, Jerry Patterson joined J.L. Powers in 2015. He is a Marine Vietnam veteran with 24 years of active and reserve service, retiring as a reserve Lieutenant Colonel in 1993. He was elected to the Texas Senate in 1992, and as Texas Land Commissioner in 2002, serving in that office through 2014.
Chandini Dublin is a Washington, D.C.-based leader and trusted advisor with a diverse background in international affairs, business, law, and government. Chandi earned her juris doctor degree from Boston College Law School, and she graduated cum laude from Boston College with a B.A. in Communications and Hispanic Studies.
A Texas native, John Moman is a dedicated community leader and entrepreneur with more than two decades of experience in both the public and private sectors. John was born and raised in Odessa, and graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in architecture. He and his family moved to Round Rock in 1984, and have been proud members of the Central Texas community since.
Allen Kaplan is a 45-year veteran of marketing and public affairs consulting, and a longtime community leader in Central Texas. He has specialized in public/private ventures while representing both public and private clients. Through his extensive background in education and community college leadership, Kaplan is well versed in planning and development issues, demographics, growth profiles and the role of education in economic development for both rural and urban areas.
Henry Dibrell counts it a distinct honor to have served as a Katy ISD Board of Trustees member since May 2011. He has dedicated much of his life to education and the advancement of excellence in the next generation. Dibrell has built strong relationships with leaders in Houston and across Texas. In his role with J.L. Powers & Associates, he utilizes his experience to help companies open doors and grow their business.

He is active in the community serving as Chair of Austin Community College Highland Campus Advisory Committee, is a graduate of Leadership Austin class of 2002, and served on the board of Texas Alpha Education Foundation of Phi Kappa Psi.
William H. “Kirk” Kuykendall is an accomplished Austin attorney and community leader with a well-established network of business and professional relationships across Texas. He has a diverse history of public service through a variety of community organizations and governmental agencies. Kirk is the recipient of the Distinguished Service Award for service to the City of Austin Community.
Al Bennett is an accomplished organizational leader with a background in both public sector operations and private sector business development. He spent almost 20 years at the Alamo County Community College, which included more than a decade of service as Dean of Continuing Education, Workforce Development and Evening and Weekend Operations.
Best known to fans of the “sweet science,” James Leija’s exceptional talent in the ring resulted in some of the best boxing matches in recent history. Leija has built strong relationships with business leaders and public officials not just in San Antonio, but across the United States. In his role with J.L. Powers, he will utilize his experience and connections to help clients grow their business.
A native of San Marcos, Daniel Guerrero is a Distinguished Alumnus of San Marcos High School, and holds degrees from Austin Community College, Texas State University, and St. Edward's University. He is a longtime community leader and former elected official at the City of San Marcos.
Mark Roberts has 30 years of experience in public and private sector revenue planning, management and accounting functions. His skills include federal revenue maximization and grants management, project management, state development, negotiations and contract administration. Mark has served as chief financial officer in the staffing industry for over a decade, overseeing both financial and operational duties. He is a graduate of the University of Texas with a B.B.A. in Accounting.
